What are you doing to protect customers in light of the COVID-19 event?
We take your and our health and safety very seriously. Each game is booked as a private event. We do not mix groups in individual games. We have purchased HEPA air filters for use in each game room that filter any germs from the air. We also use an ozone generator to more thoroughly sanitize the facility each night. We have hand sanitizer, gloves and single use masks available for customers to use. We ask that players who may have a temperature or other symptoms related to the COVID-19 virus or any other contagious diseases to please stay at home until they are well. These measures will remain in effect until our health care officials recommend otherwise.
What is an Escape Room?
An escape room is an indoor entertainment venue where you and your friends are placed in a themed room. You have one hour (60 min) to search the room for hidden objects, solve puzzles, and unlock locks in order to complete the objective and win the game. You will want to search everywhere and look at everything for clues to help you complete the challenge. The larger your group, the better chance you have of successfully winning the game.
Are we actually locked in the room?
No, the Fire Department gets all kinds of crazy at the thought of us locking people in a room. We figure that if our customers have enough imagination to pretend that they are on a pirate ship (for example), then they also can have enough imagination to pretend that the door is locked. During your pre-game briefing your game master will tell you what criteria will merit you completing the challenge, or saving your lives and winning the game.
Are there age restrictions to attend?
- Please keep in mind our puzzles were designed for the adult player, some items may be too difficult or not appropriate for younger children.
- Babies or children who require a stroller should be closely monitored while in the rooms for safety reasons.
- We do not have an age restriction, younger children often have a great time finding items in the rooms and then giving them to the older players in the room. Participants down to 11 years of age do not require an adult in the room although many do like having a parent with them to help with puzzles that they do not quite understand.
- Adults are required to be in the room for participants 10 years of age or younger.
- We no longer require waivers, however players should keep normal safety precautions in mind. Do not move large pieces of furniture, do not climb on furniture and be cautious of obviously breakable items.
I want to have a private room for my friends only, but we don't fill up all the slots, is this doable?
All games are private. The rooms are first come, first serve. As soon as someone books a room, it becomes unavailable to anyone else. So your group of 2 up to the room max are a private game. Each person playing must have a ticket and there is no discount for purchasing the whole room, unless you have a discount code. Sometimes games book up fast so it is a good idea to book sooner rather than waiting until the last minute.
Is it possible to book a show time outside of the current schedule?
Absolutely, we can always book a special time, however the minimum purchase is 1 full room. Please contact us for availability.
Are we allowed to use our phones in the rooms?
No, we ask that you do not take photographs of the rooms. We love secrets and so will the people who play the games after you. No spoilers, please! We'll take a photo of your group after the game and post it to social media. Also, all the information you need to complete the challenge is contained in the room, you just need to find it.
Are your rooms wheelchair friendly?
Yes we are wheelchair friendly, although many of our rooms involve physical elements to them. For this reason, please contact us prior to making a booking, so that we can gauge which room would best accommodate your team and make alterations to the room for your play-through if required.
How long is each game?
Each game is designed for one hour of intense fun! Plan to spend 15 minutes prior to each game preparing and briefing, and 15 minutes after each game to debrief and take photos.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
No. Everything that is needed to successfully complete the challenge is provided in the game.
Where are you located?
We are located in the HOUSE AND HOME IMPROVEMENT CENTER on the south side of 138th and Industrial Road. We are located between OrthoSource and Redeemer Church.
Do you have a party room?
Unfortunately, we used all of our available square footage for the game rooms, so we do not have a place to do presents or cake.
Do we serve food or serve/allow alcoholic beverages?
We do not serve food here. There are a nice variety of fine restaurants ranging from fast food to bar and grill to sit down restaurants within a mile of Industrial Escape Rooms. We do not serve alcoholic beverages here. I don’t even want to begin to think about the hoops I would have to jump through trying to get a liquor license. You know, I’m not as nimble as I used to be. Also, as an industry, escape rooms generally suggest that any drinking be done after the game. Because you REALLY need to be bringing your “A” game with you when you come to play. Meeting somewhere for drinks to discuss the game afterwards is a great way to continue to bond and build those relationships.
